Are you looking for some nice clouds for your next outdoor or architecture scene? Do you want to have more control over the sky? Then build your own cloudscape environment texture!
The package includes:
cloudgen-cloudy-sky.blend that will create a 360 degree panorama environment texture based on volumetric clouds with Blender internal renderer. You can experiment with the settings to create different cloudscapes.
pano-cloudy-sky.exr the resulting environment texture in high definition format
cloudlayer-pattern.png defines the layout of the cloud layer. Modify to create different cloudscapes.
sky-dome-test.blend is an example (cycles renderer) how to use the resulting environment texture in a simple outdoor scene.
