Description:

Ok so the people and work given by this community is and are amazing. I have taken from this community for long enough and now its time to give back some models (although im not great at modelling). So heres my first.

People that MUST be credited are;

amogh for the robots feet, lighting and enviro - model - "rusted robot legs"

mechman for the outer cockpit - model - "the sloth"

KuhnIndustries for the guns, interiour parts and fuel tanks - model - "Gadgets, gizmos and greebles"

greyoxide's amazing shipyard for the wings and interiour parts - model - "shipyard"

Great work guys.

and of course me, city17 - texturing, construction, enviro, lighting, comping, tube modelling, conduit modelling, search light modelling, grill modelling and other general bits and bobs.

you will need one texture which can be found on cgtextures and is called MetalPainted0073_M. The .blend file given, renders exactly the scene shown in the example image except for the smoke, muzzle flashes and shells (all of which where done in after effects)

Thanks guys enjoy.

    Technically, I guess I should be credited as well... since the rear rockets and all 4 machine guns are from my CC-BY parts collection). Also, I'm pretty the arms/body come from the "Shipyard" Blends by GreyOxide (also CC-BY). So you'd probably want to credit him as well. Nice composite/render, though...

    Unless, of course, you pulled the engine from the actual Viper model, which was CC0... if so, I stand corrected :) Still credit Grey Oxide, though...

    sorry mate there certainly was no "lack of credit where its due" intended, you are indeed correct that some of the model comes from the shipyard pack but it was released under the cc 0 (at least that's what the zipped text file my end reads) so although he certainly deserves credit (which has been changed ;)) I didn't really think about it as it wasn't a requirement. I also for some reason thought all the other bits other than the aforementioned credits where from shipyard hence the reason that no one else was credited. tbh honest I don't have time to check which "file/pack" your bits have come from but im more than happy to give credit where credit is due. sorry about that mistake and great job on the bits I got from your pack ;)
