I created this model of a Me 109 WWII fighter plane as a companion to the Spitfire model I uploaded, re-enactments of Battle of Britain welcome. The model has been kept fairly low poly and I have UV unwrapped and textured the model based on images from the Wings Pallet website, background sky was adapted from a free skymap from Blender artists. Again some basic compositing has been included with the file as well. Happy Blending!
ps here is the link to where I have used this model in a VFX project

what war period would this go to because im making a worldwide strategy game in ww2 at 1944-1945 and hoped this could fit
This Model would have been early WW2 around the battle of Britain. Mid 1940's as this is the 109 E variant, the 109 F and G would be a better match for what you want, they were more rounded in wings and cockpit canopy and a smoother nose design.
The model is very good. Sweet job. I'm making a plane myself and your model is a good reference. The video is really nice as well.
Seriously impressive model and video! Keep up the good work!
This is absolutely wonderful to see, and have. Excellent job on realism.
That video is awesome. I'll have to remember that.
