Written November 01, 2012Thanks a lot. Asuna's custom looks quite great. Actually, I was planning to model her Sword but for some unknown reason, I ended up Modeling Kirito's Swords. By the way, I think modeling Asuna's Sword base on the official art is much harder than modeling Dark Repulser. "Lambent Light" is just too Sexy.

Written November 02, 2012yeah, you're right. I almost started modeling it already but when I saw how less good references there were I decided to delay it and finish the rest first. I had a look at your blog btw. You got some really nice stuff there as well.

The Dark Repulser I modeled is based on the third Picture and it's the Art cover of Sword Art Online's OST if I'm not mistaken. I also noticed that there's a bit difference in details of the Swords between the Anime and the Novels. Probably the reason why we're having a hard time because of conflict as to what reference to use.
I also checked your Youtube channel and also realized you're one of the people that makes great Blender tutorials that I follow, thanks for the hard work! :p

Written May 04, 2014Looks very good, though the White cross at the Elucidators tip is missing and the Dark Repulser's Hilt is supposed to be blue, otherwise this looks PERFECT! Bravo!
