  One suggestion. If you look into the structure of a SHELL (Technically that's what you're going for here...), there are three parts. The bullet, casing, and primer. Don't worry about the gunpowder unless you're gonna have a scene where its shown. Anyway, a shell is composed of those 3 parts. I'd make it look like it is made of those three parts, but not really. Idk. Just a suggestion. Other than that, you got the basic shape dead on!

  Sorry, this might be me being a noob, but when i try to render it won't work. I tried changing it from cycles render to blender render but then it disappears altogether. Any tips?
