This terrain is a large terrain featuring a trenching gorge-like feature that curves around in a semi-circular shape and slight hills. It's exactly 100,000 faces/54097 vertices, but the terrain is originally scaled at about 9000 sq. kilometers (about 3475 sq. miles). This terrain was purposely left a bit plain for easy modification (sculpting terrain), untextured, and is ideal for low-poly games.
UPDATE (Feb. 2, 2013):
Issues with the normal map have been brought to my awareness. I'm in the process of fixing them. I'm also retopologizing the terrain into nice even quads and making the file size smaller. I'll put it up as soon as I'm done.
I downloaded the file and the file appears to be corrupted and i'm not sure how to fix that so if you could help that would be great.
I apologize for the delayed answer (I haven't checked my comments again until now). I see the problem and I have no idea why the normal map's giving such strange results. I'm fixing it now. In fact, I'm going to redo the normal map and retopologize the terrain into even squares. I'll update this file. Thanks for alerting me of the issue.
