Hi guys!
Another Archviz, this time a country kitchen.
Rendered in Cycles/Blender 2.62.
There's a detailed PDF doc in the zip if you want to know more about the scene and settings.
All textures are in a folder titled “Textures”.
The licence is the usual (CC-BY), just give me a mention if you use anything obvious.
I hope you guys can make use of it, cheers Jay ;)
Really well done. All the details and "cluttering" makes it look quite realistic.
Cheers for the comments guys, "Cluttering" - now that's a fraise that needs adding to the list of 3D terms! ;)
nice work!
I like the little details like towel and the cutting board. They make the scene quite vivid and believeable....
thanks for sharing.
omg wow, one of the best archvis on the site indeed!
Excellent job Jay-Artist! Thanks for the share :D
Amazing work you have here JAY-ARTIST...it's awesome. This is very timely for me because I am studying blender cycles now. This model of your will teach me more about cycles. Thank you so much for sharing.
Glad it's of help Yakucreative, don't forget "The White Room" (http://www.blendswap.com/blends/scenes/the-white-room/), which should also help with your Cycles interior studies - Good luck! ;)
Lol Gimatli, in the original photo, the sink is behind the camera - Maybe you could add one? Either that or if you're desperate to wash something, you could use the sink from my bathroom suite blend! ;)
I really loved this!! very inspired to do something like this for an Arch Viz project. This is my kinda kitchen ;)
Thanks a lot for sharing!
I duno if anyone comes back after leaving a comment, but thanks for any praise etc for the scene ;)
Great jay, I borrowed some of your clutter for my personal use thanks allot, I hope to be this good all on my own someday, soon I won't your work any-more. Cheers
Just a quick tip, amazingly i managed to fix up the strange geometry on the chairs, even though im a noob, i have seen this in tutorial video and knew the cause. The subsurf modifiers on the chair backs need to be moved to the top above the other modifiers.
Just an FYI Jay,
SideFx is using your scene in their Houdini Portal Light demonstration on Vimeo. https://vimeo.com/127279992
hay,,,,i am using your model for designing my own restaurant,,your scene was very helpful,,,thank you,,,you are awesome man......
I would like to use your blend of kitchen(marked CC-BY) in my CG Movie Clip. Please could you tell me more about yourself and your complete name so I can give you the credits in a more formal way. Thanking in anticipation.
This looks amazing would love to use it for a short clip would add you in the credit, thank you.
It can be downloaded. It's just a HTML address. Can you fin it please?
When I open the .blend file, the textures are attached to the surfaces. What's the correct way of fixing this? Thanks!
--edit: actually, if you move all the texture file to the "texture" folder, it all works. Thank you for the hard work!
Thank you for the hard work. This is impressing. Meanwhile,I did the render using the provided file. And the color become purple. Do I miss some tune step? Overall. Thank you very much. Great
It's great! The amount of detail and attention you give is perfect. But the samples need to be raised.
It's on Cycles, but... April 22, 2012 10329 Downloads 355 Likes Blender 2.62 Render: --Internal--
@gucimerbabu: If some parts are purple, copy the images to the textures-folder. Alternatively, go to File -> External Data -> find missing files and point blender to the map where you unpacked the downloaded ZIP.

Hi,
I used your kitchen in my plant:

Nice work. Note: does not include floorboard texture, you'll have to provide your own. Does not quite look the same in Blender 2.91. Some aspects of the lighting look better, some look worse, but good enough.
great! as the white room, too.
