Seat!
Simply a collection of seats that I made from my abandoned short-film project, Seat!. Not long ago I decided to dust-off my models and share them with the community, and hopefully getting some critical responses. This pack contains 13 blends, non of which are textured. Enjoy and please give me some feedback. Thanks.
PLEASE COMMENT:
Don’t worry about hurting my feelings. :-)
Awesome. Thanks for sharing. The only issue in my opinion is that some parts of the meshes are unnecessarily dense.
You're right, I faced a lot of difficulties trying to models curved parts of the meshes. I will work on it. Thanks.
Some parts could have been solved using bevel and solidify. Or maybe that was your workflow? I am thinking of rolled metal parts with constant section.
I'm gonna have fun retopoing some of these. Great models. I feel all models uploaded should be sitting in a chair just to start.
WOW! did I just get recognized by Blender Nation and "Staff Picked" by Blend Swap on the same week?! This truly the highest rank you could give a 17 year old. Thank You! Blender Forever ;-)
Great stuff. They will come in handy. Just wish the parts were better labeled.
I wish blendswap had a fork option as github does. Nice work, I suppose that the first .blend I'll commit here will be a fork (or at least inspired by) one of your models. Good job, sir.
Bastante practicos. Observando estos modelos aprendo a construir propios. Estoy empezando a usar Blender. Buen día !!! Pretty practical. Noting these models learn to build own. I'm starting to use Blender. Good day!
Very nice work! Will be very useful for my interior scenes, and also this helps my understand modeling better!
You've done a great work man! Thanks a lot for your blend, you've helped me a lot! :)
Thankyou so much Zero4Mike, you are so very talented! I am sure you are one of the greatest blender users out there! Thankyou so much for sharing your wonderful talent, I hope you have a very wonderful day! :)
Hello Mike,
I intend to use your chairs collection as a starting point / inspiration for a humorous animation of a kind of 'hiking machine' for lazy people. Its a kind of walking robot legs thing with a platform on top with an armchair, fridge, etcetera - essentially everything that you would not ever miss when out hiking :) - and of course the thing's a complete nuisance, making a dreadful racket with its diesel generator needed to power the hydraulics. It seems getting the mechanics right for the legs is a hell of a lot of work, so that's why I was looking to win some time with assets like the chair, diesel generator etcetera.
Here's a video that I did while playing with the first version of the Hiking Machine, using the camera tracking features of Blender (Andrew Price did a good tutorial about it here: https://www.blenderguru.com/tutorials/?offset=1346352325138), to place it in some footage I took in Norway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pliKUnNjlgs I'll credit you if I use the chairs! Thanks.
Looks like a nice setup you have here. Been looking to use furniture in a point-and-click game I'm making. You can follow it at project245.tumblr.com
You Are the ! Best ! So new to Blender ! Kindness of strangers make life a joy! Thank you!
They all look very weel done. Keep it up!
