Description:

This is a set of stairs to be used on the interior or exterior of a building. The steps follow the rule of 18 (rise and run of each step add up to 18). The units in the Scene buttons have been changed to Imperial so that I could get the exact 10 foot floor height. There is an array modifier set up to increase the number of flights dynamically. It is an attempt at low-poly (each flight/landing mesh has 2,220 faces, and the end cap object has 194 faces). The model is quad only except for the end caps of cylinders that have tris. It has been UV unwrapped. The UV islands are roughly arranged in order from top to bottom, from left to right in the UV layout compared to 3D space's top to bottom, left to right, front to back. For the items I anticipated would have the same UV mapping (the stairs and balusters), I have stacked the islands to give more room for other islands. I hope it will be considered for inclusion in Project Falcon. Either way, I enjoyed the practice in making it, and I hope someone else gets the chance to use it!

Thank you very much. I had contemplated creating separate UV layouts for different items in order to give the texture artist more granular control of what items looked like, but for the purpose of Project Falcon in a scene that would be very high motion, I did not think it would be necessary.
