This is a generic jet airliner, loosely based off the Boeing 737 transport model.
Features:

A fully rigged armature, with control surfaces and landing gear constrained and rigged to make animating a breeze.

A complete set of hi-res textures. The Inkscape .svg's used to create the textures are also included in the download, allowing you to create your own airliner with any color scheme, modifications, and fiddly bits.

A complete material setup. Two blends are included; the default is a Cycles-ready model, fully set up with node materials and shaders. The second (with a _BI on the end of the file name) is a Blender Internal Render Engine-ready file, perfect for lonely, nostalgic sunset flights.

A clean, all-quads topology, making modifications easy.

Note that this airliner doesn't have an interior, as the interior setup I created is much more complex and isn't suited to much outside of the project.
Thank you. Without Blendswap, I would have no self-esteem to speak of, and I'd be just a little crunchy shell. You people are the best thing that's ever happened to me.
I exaggerate rather largely.
Yep, I always try to make everything all-quads. Ever since I discovered Campbell Barton's fantastic Loop Tools and the Spin Edge tools, I've been like a pig in mud.
I also need to look up those tools... The model is amazing, and I used it in the following video:

The only thing I didn't like was how the texture mapping was set up. Since I didn't have a map of where all those quads went, I had to guestimate quite a lot on editing the texture picture. For example, the door vs the rest of the plane side. I had wanted to put the Alaska on the door and have it match up. But since I didn't have a good map (where the parts ended and exactly how large it was, or where I'd have to cut the picture I put in), I ended up just putting it further back.
So, suggestion for another time, while the lines document was helpful for the most part, a more complete texture map (like a uv map), would be more helpful. Other than that, it is an amazing model. Good job :)
Thanks, I used your model for a visual effects shot, saved me a lot of modeling time ;)

i'm having problems with getting an environment map to render in the scene any advice?
Hey man,the plane is SUPER AWESOME..!!! but there's a problem.I cant get to render the bakground all I get is a black background.I want to add a footage and render the footage too,any suggestions??
How come the plane disappears when you switch it from object mode to edit mode?
