This was built as an exercise to show my students how you can construct a detailed object using just primitive type objects such as cylinders, boxes and lofts. Originally done in 3ds Max.
I have mainly switched to blender. I used to teach 3ds max up until about a year ago. I find blender to be awesome for the price. I still have a lot more models to upload to you guys as they are just sitting on my hard drive being of no use to anyone. There are some I have to fix due to the import process, but they are on the way. I hope they are of good use to the community.
Thanks for the mass share, Joseph. Applying an edgesplit modifier makes the hard surface models look awesome. Just an FYI.
Joseph, great models, thanks for sharing them all with us. Do you still mainly use 3DS Max, or have you switch to blender now?
