This low polygon character can be used for games and also for sculpts.
Polycount : 1004 polygons including all quads and tris.
Adaptable to any kind of character, whether big, thin, small, etc ...
Of course, you can. :-)
I'm glad that you want to use it for videos. Thanks a lot !
Great model - I used this for the recent blenderguru rigging tutorial and got some really pleasing results. I put a video up on flickr and attributed you. Here's a link, thanks again.

@Juan Carlos : Pretty nice. But I found the movement a little bit too quick. Thanks.
@Blork you are right it is so quick, anyway it was just a test, I just have to say thanks again, this model is fantastic for teaching rigging.
this is an awesome rig! I am currently using it for Jonathan Williamson's rigging tutorial. It is working really great.
Good job looks great!! Clean and low polly... Im just asking cause im new to site but what would happen it some one did not give credit? just wondering thxs :)
Thank you for this model, I'm using it to revamp my skills in rigging with the new blender (I was left off at 2.49.. quite some changes here :)

Great model! Will be my character to learn blender game engine, so I'll teach him to do very cool stuff in the future. Maybe he gets a sword. greetings
its creative commons, mean you can use it but you must give credit to the author :)
Great for sculpting! I guess more than 4000 people are having lots of fun with this one! Thank you very much for sharing!

I was about to use it in a game where screen is black and only audio is used... can I make a reference to it in a "readme" file or in the "audio credits"? Thanks indeed
Thanks, I'm going to use it for practice modeling in low poly
Great model! This is perfect for practicing rigging for first timers and modeling. If you guys want it to be more detailed and not so 'low poly' I guess then add a multi resolution modifier to it and press subdivide until it gets the way you want it. Thanks again bro!
You're all welcome. Thanks guys for the support ! :) And if you want to us my blend for a video, project or anything (even commercialized), you can ! Just write my name (TehJoran) or put a link to this page.
Definitely gotta use this in my game this summer. Can use him as a ped model. I will definitely give you credit.
Downloadable file is broken, tells me that there's nothing in the archive to unzip.
I did a rig on this character, here's the link if you guys want it http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/low-poly-character-rigged-47686.html
I'm a noob and it really bothers me how you change the color of the mesh in edit mode.. Could you please tell me how you did it.. Great low poly mesh by the way, :) Thanks!
hey there... thanks for the upload... i'm a noob too and i'm wondering why the model shrank when I applied set parents with automatic weights... im pretty sure I followed the rigging instructions to the letter and everything was looking great until i did parenting... please help :( thanks again
To give a credit to the author means to mention that he made it, right?
I just started using this model as a base for sculpting human(oid) characters in the latest Blender release. It's a fantastic starting point, saving loads of time and allowing me to jump straight into character development. I just append the basemesh object and start sculpting. Very much looking forward to my next uninterrupted day off to play with this model... I love it! Thank you! Hoping to have some fun stuff done based off this thing in the not too distant future and I look forward to sharing it (and crediting blender_player... of course!)
If it's okay with you, I'd like to use the top half of this model to help with a centaur idea o' mine. I'll give credit :)
probably my all time favorite male base! and such GREAT HANDS AHAH
I can't download it correctly. When I save the file, it's in HTML
