I've tested sapling. It is a really good add on and already useful.
The leaves are made ??with the particle system.
I think, the trees are too high poly. I cant use it for any scene.

Written February 28, 2017You need to open your project, go to an empty layer and press "Shift+f1", or file "append". Find this file, go to objects and then select the ones you want to append

Written September 22, 2025Sapling is a great add-on and definitely useful, especially with how the leaves are handled using the particle system. However, the trees are a bit too high poly for practical use in most scenes. For something like drone photography Birmingham projects, where performance and render times matter, lower-poly models would be much more efficient.

Thanks. I never thought of using the particle system for leaves! You were saying that they are too high-poly. The only reason they are too high-poly is because the leaves are high-poly. In my opinion, however, they are very nice, and medium poly (there are two trees, after all)!!!
