This is an updated version of Cartoon Guy with some changes upon requests that have been made.
Some of the modifications include:
New face rig slider UI via the N(property) panel of the 3D view shown when jaw is selected
Eye target lock control and pupil shrink controls shown when eye target is selected
A third control for each eyebrow
2 Light setups and a camera that actually points toward the character
Optional IK stretch for arms and legs
Extra controls for cartoony deformations
Stretchy neck and torso
Extra spine controls
If I missed any of the suggested changes or you think of something else that would be cool in the rig I'll try my best to make it happen.

just a quick rigging tip that might help in the future since 2.5, you no longer need to need empties to hook up your lattices you can hook them straight up to the armature bones (this makes more a cleaner set-up and makes it easier to select parts when you are rigging)

I guess I'm used to the workflow of using empties. Is there a short key for bone hooks?
I downloaded 2.56 and fixed the problem. The driver settings were there but the shapekeys had no drivers themselves. There should be a new file on this site soon for the 2.56 version.

How do I edit the cartoon guy mesh? When I go into edit mode I can adjust the faces and vertices but the changes do not apply in object mode.
every time i download a rig from blendswap the ratio is 67% and i can not open it can anyone help
I need help! I can move the character to my liking, but if I render it, it changes back to normal! What do I do!?
I'm experiencing a little problem with the rendering. whenever I try to move the eyes, or any part of the rig really, and then render, the whole rig just goes back to its original pose and I just get the standard image. I can only move or delete objects without this problem occurring. does anyone know how to fix this?
I can append this rig to another blend file and assign it to a another character, right? Then How do I get my character correctly weight painted? So many bones there....
