Description:

Here's a backyard telescope, not inspired by any brand in particular, just a prop I wanted to make for a scene. Pick a nice HDRI to go with it and it really pops! I've only used it in EEVEE but it should be fine in Cycles, YMMV.

The tripod is rigged, and the legs can fold up. The bones have constraints to prevent popping, and bone layer 1 has the handles while layer 2 holds the support bones.

The model has unapplied modifiers and can be linked to a scene with library overrides. If you wish to finalize the model for export, a quick way to do so: run "Object -> Convert to Mesh" and merge the objects. Keep in mind this also applies the armature modifier.

Have fun, I hope these models are useful or helpful in some way. Edit and take parts from them freely, you are more than welcome to use them in your own projects and scenes.

Edit: Forgot to label the armature's datablock, kinda important due to linking. Reuploaded!
