Hi all This model is belong to Farly, Mushu A-pose. https://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/73017
I am learning rigging with blender. I use it for rigging with rigify addon and custom bendy bone, but the facial mushu's eyes are very hard to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88Q2uSYmC6c
i hid the rig for link from another .blend file, you can turn the eye icon of Mushu_rig in outliner on (unhide), then you can see the rig
Very nice artwork. I already turn on unhide all object, but i still cant find the shape rig in this model.
i don't know what's happen, but you can watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_95Ba7hYkI
Hey, Unhide is on already, but the objects that aren't displaying are greyed out.
it's cause of viewport display in each materials. You can go to viewport display tab in Meterial menu, and turn it to grey. in blender 2.8 , you can set viewport shading color to "object" instead of "material" as present.
I'm talking about the outliner, the objects that aren't displaying(like the rig) are greyed out like their locked or something.
Millard, if you are using the latest 2.8 version, try Right-Clicking a Collection then choosing Visibility/Enable in Viewports.
Why does the foot.ik.L bone not work? I keep trying to pose it and can't seem to get it to pose. Like, the bones move, but the mesh doesn't. the other ik bones are fine, it's just that one.
In the properties Panel (so when you hit n in viewport) if you allow script execution, there will be a Misc Tab.
When you have an IK or an FK controller selected, the IK/FK switch value will appear in the main rig properties section.
Really neat rig and a great source of inspiration! I really learned a few very valuable lessons from looking at it! Unfortunately, it is kind of broken with the current blender Versions. Your IK/FK snapping is no longer working and opening the file with how much of the UI has changed is kind of a mess.
I will let you know, if I end up fixing it. You can either have the model to upload it yourself or I'll just republish it, crediting you for having done the majority of the work.
You can republish it, This model is belong to Farly, Mushu A-pose. https://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/73017 So you can crediting Farly

When I opened it, the rig wasn't aligned with the model. Why is that?
