Description:
Sun with corona and sunspots, animated to show movement along the surface, with a starry background, and rendered in Blender Internal. Created entirely with procedural textures; no external images used, so feel free to play with the materials, textures and particle settings as you wish. I based it on one or two basic "sun" tutorials I'd run across a few years ago, then adapted for a few of my own projects. Enjoy!
