I have made a particle emission system parented to a cube that is animated to do certain things, like a loop or a figure 8 for example. The main editing comes in the compositor. You render an image or animation, go to the compositor, (before you render an animation) and take the output of whatever speedster you want the lightning to be and put it in the output node. I hope many people get as much use out of this as they can. This of course, is not perfect, but with a little compositing, it can be really useful for a short-film, or animation. Hope you all enjoy!!!
I have a Cisco vibe portal .blend, but I don't know whether I should put it up or not. If you guys will use it then I will.
I have made an updated version of this pack, but I uploaded it as a separate blend file, here's the link: https://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/89104
not exactly, you could just render a sequence out and import the video into your other program tho.
how do i open that tab when i open compositing tab while selecting cube i only see a blank black sccreen if i check use nodes all i see is render layers and composite pls helpp
