Update Note (22nd Feb 2020): I got rid of Jim and added Jill - a female version of Jim. Also I have updated the rig with some new features. Thank you for downloading :)
Note: (For Blender 2.8) When you first open the file you will see the pop-up prompt. Make sure you check on the box Permanently allow execution of scripts and hit Allow Execution. This way the script the runs in my file manipulating the rig will be able to run on your machine. Promise this isn't a virus or anything Blender is just trying to warn you if there is an alienated script and see if you mean to use that script.

Edited January 16, 2017Hey, I know your possible corruption when you first open your Blend file, at the top of your Blender app click on Reload Trusted, that should fix all the problems. Else, you can go to your User Preferences - File tab and tick on Auto Run Python scripts, this way it will run the script compiled with whatever file you open in your system. Cheers :D

Written February 02, 2018Are you in pose mode? If you select the skeleton and hit Ctrl-Tab it should be in pose mode, and from there you can pose your model :D

You can find the texture in the texture editor, click on the image icon in between the New button and the UVs menu tab, then you can find 2 texture maps, one of Jack and one of Jim. Happy animating! :D

Written November 05, 2018Did you move any of the bones in edit mode? If so, then you may have broke the rig. You'll want to redownload a fresh copy if this is the case.

Written November 05, 2018Same. I just got rid of the ".html" when I renamed it. After this it can be used as a zip as long as it still has ".zip" on the end of it.
Rename from [ _.zip.html ] to [ _.zip ]

--- Original Rant --- The video begins. It appears you have the 2nd Collection down named "Jack Rig" selected. I open the file I downloaded. There is no Collection named "Jack Rig." I study the file... determine the "Collection 11" looks the same as the video "Jack Rig" because they both have an armature named "Jack's," so I select Collection 11.
The video clearly shows the Root bone. The file I've downloaded doesn't. Your video shows the Rig Layers. The file doesn't. I study the paused (at 0:00) video. Figure out I have to click "Misc" to open the Rig Layers. I click Root in the Rig Layers. Nope. Nothing. Root doesn't appear.
At this point, I give up. Waste of my time, and the bandwidth to download. But hey, nice try!!!

Written March 25, 2019There was an error on updating the rig on the site. There was clearly the new version of the rig but it's un-checked and the old version was checked so the version you downloaded was the old one. I resolved it and tried again. Sorry for wasting your valuable time sir!

Written September 16, 2020This rig is beyond awesome, but I would like to have more manual control over the 3 parts of the spine individually, is it possible on this rig? I kind of failed to do that so far. EDIT: I see that I can use the Tweak Bones for that purpose, maybe it can be catered to do that, even though they don't practically rotate, but this should suffice at least for my Body Mechanics course I'm taking for now ( I guess).
