A little quicky to get back into handpainting and texpainting in Blender. Sadly I didnâÃÂÃÂt spend any time in the unwrapping stage, so the Texture space is used awefully bad. CouldâÃÂÃÂbe had a way better resolution :( Feel free to use ir in your projects.
MY GOD! You're a genious! I could kiss you! But I won't, my screen'll get dirty.
Hey don't downplay yourself like that. You can do things like this as well. My advice?
1. Always gather some reference or research what you're going to model. Doing this will help you stay on track as well as help you add details you wouldn't think about yourself.
2. Practice Practice Practice Just keep on going, Every new thing you do will teach you something that'll improve your overall work.
3. Learn from others Look at other people's work. See what they did, figure out how they overcame obstacles.
Very nice. But yes, you could have used the texture map more efficiently. I was able to remap it down to 512x512.
Looks nice! You can always unwrap it after you textured it, and Bake it on to a better UV map :D
