I adapted these (public domain) pliers a bit: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/16219, in a way that for me is easier to handle. The mesh is exactly the same, I just applied the array modifier and added two bones: one for opening/shutting, and one root bone for handling the pliers as a whole. Also added a simple cycles material (diffuse + glossy).
