So a transformer-gundam idea pop up in my head and then I started to make this scene ! And the reason why I upload this scene to Blendswap is that I recieved a lot from Blendswap and now I want to give something back. When you download to File and hit F12 it will result in the exact picture shown because I did'nt edit the picture anywhere esle than Blender. The mech in the scene are fully riged down to the little detail like the cylinders so feel free to use it on other scene or make some animation, I would love to see it. Please give to some feedback in the comment section if I make a mistake or a way to improve my scene. This is the first of many and I will be honored if you can learn something from the Scene and sorry for the heavy file P/s : check out my deviant http://duongnguyenminhthuan.deviantart.com/ Minh Thuan - (Zeroswat)
Actually I think I was wrong, the blend started rendering fine after reloading the rig stuff (was this done with Riggify?)
That looks awesome. How many time have you need from start to finish this project ?
WOW just WOW, so well done! Thank you for sharing your work with us : )
Cheers, Rex
It is not a fan work right? Just asking becouse you said transformer.
nope :), pure design and render by me. The mech is inspired by transformer not a actual transformer fan art
how..... just how man i cant even model a base human character....... i quit that im not made for that
human is the hardest thing to model in CG to me, so dont feel so bad about it, practice made perfect
where have you been? you sir are a legend, cant wait to see your future creations.
Not anytime soon, im currently working on a pretty big project. The project's asset will be release into blendswap however. I dont want to hide anything :))
Really Awesome. I cant wait till the day they make more Mech tutorials for blender, so we can all create something as awesome as this. (been using blender for almost year now no where near this level great work. )
Oh my... That looks like a transformer, speechless to how epic this is...
Wow! This is very inspirational to a newcomer to the land of CG and Blender! I have a few questions if you don't mind:
Thanks!
+I have learn Blender for 2 year and been creating CG works for over a year now (i'm 20 years old), how long does it takes for you to grow strong in CG is depends : lucks(finding the right tutorial at the right time), talents, computer(seriously you need a strong computer), how much can you learn from tutorials and freebies like there and so on. +I draw very bad, i finded some ref image then build this mech on those random ref image. And the drawing skill only required when you build something from start to end like this scene here, if you work in a assembly line or have somebody to draw a concept art for you then the skill is not required ( I think), otherwise - use your imagination ! like me !
pkazmier it does'nt matter how long you practice. just keep going and you will find your self their
Bless you sir! Bless! This is an amazing piece of work, and to be willing to toss it to Blend Swap says much of you as a person!
Saw that one before (http://www.creativeshrimp.com/steampunk-machine-blender-tutorial.html)
Still looks amazing :o
Looks awesome! At least I know that from pictures, didn't get it to render crash free yet, too great for my shitty gpu :D
I downloaded the file and it seems to be lacking the legs. Update Found the legs. they were shoved into the mech's chest. Bones did not seem to be working well.
for some reason when i downloaded it the legs are kinda gone, the arms are in a different position, there is no sky, and its really dark
This is the perfect blend to use in my upcoming movie (based on star trek star wars and independence day)
Know it's been a while, but I was looking at your scene and it's some really really impressive stuff! I noticed some of the background models like the dead robot and drones, etc. all have tris, and kinda look like they were ripped from a game. I think that's a good way to do backgrounds actually, and never really thought of that. Anyways, how did you get those and texture them? Seems like that would be quite a task to do!
i wanted to animate this Awesome Robot. but his legs missing when I open. no legs at all. would you please help to figure it out? if you don't mind, please proper like to my email jamaludinrizal@gmail.com
I really like your idea, but implementing that's not my neighbor this machine gun idea is not simple, so you need to prepare carefully before doing it.
I didn't get the exact same render until I set my rendering settings to use the experimental Cycles features, just leaving a little note here for those who might feel disoriented about rendering this blend. Other than that, this is one EPIC share! Great job!
