Description:

This is an abstract pattern of neon balls I created. It should be a lot of neon balls, but now it looks also something like the matrix numbers in blue :)

For some reason the headline reminded me that all my data literally travels across the internet, and who knows who uses it, where it ends up, in good hands or in the hands of attackers.

It would be nice to know how our data travels, who sees it, and all that. But we don’t really get that option. All we can do is try to protect our data. For encryption people usually use a vpn, but if you need to hide your ip address, you’ll need a proxy from a solid provider, for example https://floppydata.com/. All of this makes working online more complicated, but that’s just modern reality and the cost of the job.
