Description:
Scene with Giant Causeway-like rock structures in the middle of an ocean. I created this scene following a youtube tutorial by Sardi Pax (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kF4aS4mmHv4). I took his permission to put up this scene into Public Domain, which he gracefully gave. So the idea and techniques are his.
The scene contains rocks as particles (the textures are packed with the blend) and simple materials for the sea and foam. The node system is slightly complex though but a very useful system. The clouds are generated and so is the mist. There is also a color grading node in the compositing window. No animation has been given.
