Description:

A simple model of Black Lion - based on Toynami's Masterpiece Voltron. These were among my first attempts to learn the interface, and were made in 2012. Enjoy! Update - I realized my WIP version was uploaded. Here's the original! Update - I just added the panels (parented to same skeleton bone as the forelimb) to each of the front legs, and changed the Voltron face mesh to all quads.

Thank you for creating all five lions from the Classic Voltron. I have converted the black lion model from the blend format into a .mesh.ascii format that I could use in a posing program to pose the model with for use in xnalara/xps. This allows me to pose the model Black Lion to form the base body of Voltron, so then I can easily do the same with the remaining four lions, and literally form Voltron!

I have some interesting ideas to create some artwork images using these models, including the lions in Voltron form.

Do you have any further plans or have given any thought to creating the Paladins (original pilots) for each robot lion? I would love to see models for them, if you could create them. Keith for the Black Lion, Lance for the Red Lion, Pidge for the Green Lion, Hunk for the Yellow Lion, and Princess Allura for the Blue Lion.

Thanks! I am pleased you were able to do something with them. As far as future development, I have considered doing a Vehicle Voltron / Dairugger XV but have not started it. I have no plans to create the pilots at this time.
