Hello again, I'm still working on my "advanced" texturing skills. So this is my last blend.
Please tell me what you think! Cheers!

PS. The blend only contains the rim+tires for minimal size!
Where did you learn to texture? Looking at some of your other models, your texturing skills are quite good. Thanks.
Well, learning photoshop is kinda the key to it all. And Mudbox texture paint is also great. Play around, follow tutorials and practise, a lot! Also I enjoy doing it, my models are usually kinda poor compared to my textures ;)
Thanks. I took a look at mudbox and it's like $500 I think, so I won't be using that anytime soon lol. If I had to choose between modeling skills and texturing skills, I think texturing would take the cake. It really brings things to life and can hide some imperfections in your models. Do you have any tutorials or websites you could suggest? I feel I need to learn this texturing stuff to really take my models to the next level. Thanks.
I absolutely recommend you to look at Andrew Prices tutorials on realistic texturing. Blendergu. Com I've learnt a lot from them and it's mainly blender. And it will teach you the different types of texture maps. Give it a go! :)
Nice looking tire. Just signed up to let you know that I absolutely love that people share their models! One question tho - how many polygons do this thing have (will download later)?
Will most likely use it in a mod called The Very TrackPack for a game called Wreckfest. Hope that's fine by you?
Edit: Forgot the most important word - thanks!
Nice! Thank you. : )
Cheers, Rex
