This is a very informative video! My fiance and I were only recently marveling at compact disks and wondering how it worked. We understood binary and such. I was pretty correct in my guesses though I had thought that both the 1 and 0 both reflected into the sensor, only in different ways. It is much simpler this way because it only requires one light sensor.
Am I correct in assuming that the sensor is merely a photocell?
