A quick attempt to create a high poly Uboat VIIC, the most common German submarine of WWII. Comes with materials, textures, and a basic lighting set up. This model should be suitable for shots of the whole boat. ~2,300,000 tris total. Have fun with it, and let me know if there are any problems!

Written June 22, 2016I have been searching the internet for a free Type VIIC 3D Uboat model in the last hour. This is the best free model available as of 2016 June, at least in the first 10 pages of Google search results! Thanks for freely sharing your excellent work!

I have used it in the process of making a new mod for the old uboat game "Aces of the Deep", and it was incredibly helpful for producing new bridge view graphics.
