  My favorite way to import a character, with rig and all is to open the file that has the character and select everything you want. Then hit ctrl+G to group them together, save, exit.. Then I go to my blender file where I want it and hit Shift-F1 to append. Then surf to the file and open the groups folder, you will find the group you made. select it and you will see it import everything grouped. I usually "remove from all groups" once i have the character in my blender file.

  I'm trying to put an extra pair of arms on this. I don't know how to do it and when I did do it, the problem was... bad. His little finger was fudged up and his arm would deform when I tried to pose it. Is there any way somebody could help me? I can't request anything but I need his extra pair of arms rigged. Please, could you help me? I need that rigged but when I did it the bones HATED me.
