I have been working on this shark for about an accumlation of 2 days I am new to blender and am self teaching myself the works. If I made mistakes please critique me. This is my first totally finished model. I am an animal lover and am striving to become better so at some point I can distribute my works and then donate to funds that aid in the preservation of animals.

Ok as someone who used youtube tutorials I dont exactly know how hard it is to teach this to yourself, but I can give you a few pointers to this model.

For instance the nostrils are a differend model, which is not necisary at all. Same goes for the mouth and eyes.

Try minimizing the 6+edge poles and triangles(if its going to be animated)

Also the bottom has too many edge loops while the side doesnt have enough, try to spread it evenly across the model(except places with more detail obvieusly) Which can be done by selecting the edge loop(shift+rclick) and pressing x and disolve edges(including verticies)

I hope I managed to help you a bit and not offend anyone.
