Written June 08, 2014Yes, we had a large garden when I was growing up. My father was a professional gardener back in the days when it was really appreciated. He looked after parks and private gardens and transformed a newly built council-run old people's home from a large expanse of clay to beautifully manicured lawns featuring raised flower beds. He had a potting shed and cold frames at work and at home. My mother worked on a plant nursery and they met when my father made a delivery in a lorry.
I was lucky enough to grow up on home grown vegetables and fruit :-)

The level of detail on the little leaf shapes is great. Thank you. I'm quite fond of cacti and succulents.
