Description:

This is a completed kitchen done in cycles. The cupboard doors have a pivot point that allows them all to be opened as long as they are turned on the z axes. There is shelving inside. The drawers are locked to their perspective axes. Everything that needs to be parented together is. The textures are from plaintextures.com but for the environment image which is an HDRI free sample that requires that I post a link and give credit to the site, HDRIhub.com. This is the link.

The pictures on the wall that look drawn...well they are. These are actually pieces of art that I personally drew myself in real life. They are posted on my website. I thought that this as a nice touch. At any rate enjoy.

my favourite preview is 2nd one, reflection of kitchen is very clear and really like digital panel :) now I want to do this kind of compositions but im not sure if i can because I didnot try much about indoor compositions. I was wondering that how long does it take to complete this?

To complete the entire blend took about a week. The digital panels were actually pretty easy. I used the blender add text under the add mesh menu and then sized it, coloured it and converted it to a mesh. I used the shrinkwrap feature under the modifiers to set it on top of the panel. I like how it looks too.

Yes, it's a excelent render, blenderjunky (former blendernoob). I'd add a little more of light to the background, but that is my personal appreciation.

I always seem to have trouble with lighting...lol I have heard from a couple of artists that there should be a bit more light to show the details of the cabinetry. I can understand and appreciate, their, and your perspective. That being said, I actually like the idea of this blend having a dim look. I like the imperfections of digital art that makes it look almost real. If everything is too perfect then it looks like a digital image. I feel the same way about special effects in movies. If I know I'm watching a special effect then the effect is not very good. If I forget that what I am looking at isn't actually real, that the effect is so seamless that I get lost in it, then it's a great effect. Those effects though seamless, are usually not designed to be perfect. It's the crack in the virtual wall or the stain of rust on the robot that isn't actually standing in front of the actors.

Problems with illumination?. Don't worry about that. You are in the right way to the perfection stage. Regards.

Wonderful! exactly what I was looking for in my webcomic! I'll have to convert it into freeform because it's designed to look caroony but yes! your kitchen will save me a lot of time and trouble! Thank you. All credit will go to you on the credits page! sweet. It will be featured in chapter one of my webcomic, http://iox.insanityofxade.com/ and going over your other blends I see I can use a few more things. Wonderful! You'll shave weeks off of my production time.

Thank you for sharing your kitchen! I just downloaded it and it looks nice, however, I did want to clear up one point before I can use it - on this website, the file is listed as CC0 except for the HDRI (which I will remove from my version). However, in the download folder there is a license file that lists the contents as Creative Commons Attribution 3.0, which is not the same as CC0. I am assuming this is supposed to apply only to the HDRI and the rest is being released as CC0. Although I am not against attribution, I can't use things licensed as such for my real work, only for tests and hobby pieces. But since there is a risk that some of the attribution licensed pieces or derivatives there of could easily get mixed up with the CC0 scenes, I can't download/keep them.

Hope to hear from you to clear this up - it looks like a nice set and I would look forward to using it.

Hey sorry for the late reply. I'm not exactly sure why that is appearing in the licensing as I have set all my blends to CCO. That is not something that I have added from my end at least not on purpose. The HDRI is the only thing in the file that can't be used for commercial or any other use. The entire blend file with that one exception is perfectly fine to use in any project you wish.
