Requirements:
Use your imagination to design a bug that doesn't exist. It needs to take a couple of steps on a leaf - maybe from the blender greenhouse? - and then fly off of that leaf out of frame....

It shouldn't look friendly or unfriendly. It should just look like a realistic bug on a leaf, with some feature that makes it unearthly.

hey i did a quick mock-up. The bug isn't very high poly but have a look at the rendered animation of him taking flight off a leaf and tell me if that is the kind of thing you are looking for. Just comment on the video and I will reply there :)

Hey, I just found this. It looks nice. The scene is supposed to be a calm greenhouse so maybe not so much bouncing of the leaves - just the one the bug is on...
The camera should be closer so we can really see the bug...
