Should the mouth be a texture only or a simple polygon mouth? in Goldeneye64 the arms and legs aren't connected to the body. Do you want the legs and arms connected to the body? I'll give it a try and show some screenshots this night. It's a bit tricky to make the character look like that (i mean the washy textures) :-)

i made a very very basic model http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/4281/soldierconcept.jpg It has about 270 Quad Polys (expect the nose thats 3 triangles) The legs, arms and the head aren't connected to the rest of the Body just like in Goldeneye 64. I made a little transition between the legs and the boots. i will adjust a littlebit more the proportions and start texturing soon :-)

It is still possible to make a more detailed Texture or Model, but i dont think i can make it even more simple =D. Just tell me what should be diffrent or not.
