  • Low-Poly

Conflicting requirements can be seen as optional for your answer ;)

here is a link to what i would like. this will be some sort of a sim i assume and would like it to be as close as possible to the first 17 seconds of the blood flowing down and coming back up after it hits the floor. If you have pay pal i will pay for this!!!

This won't be possible in cycles since cycles doesn't support volumetrics yet. It could however be done in Blender Internal render and composited over whatever you're doing.

ok changed it up. id be surprised if blender could pull this off.

I'd also take out "high poly" :P this would be a smoke sim, so no polygons. If I knew how much you're offering to pay I might give it a shot myself ;) send me an email if you're interested gregzzmail{at}gmail.com - I've done a fair deal of simulations like this recently

id pay based on how good it is. you can make it and put a demo seal on it.. if it was really good id pay 50-60 for it.

I have an idea where it would look more like coming up from the deep and being below the surface, not sure if blood would float or just color the water red, I mean in rel life.

request56680 Opse, uploaded my first render, this one's closer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IQgnBPg1wM

If you can make it better res as my computer can handle it. I will buy it if you can make it more the same as the higurashi video.

@TheParodyPirate, I don't need any money for it, I just wanted to participate.
If the "video" resolution is an issue you can fix that by changing it in the render settings dimensions tab (the sample video was rendered @ 25%). It's a simulation so the best case scenario is always going to be an approximation, but if you can be more specific on your requirements, I should be able to tweak it.

what i am looking for is a more or less effect and sim on what happens in real life. blood (if you have happened to have a nose bleed recently) will do a ink effect and fall down and sink in the water. as in the video the same effect is observed. in the first few seconds the blood should be more consistent. the color should also be more vibrant and thicker looking color and texture to get a closer resemblance to the video.

@TheParodyPirate

When you say your looking for "what happens in real life" I envision... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PywEvWlfZ0

The video you cited and I was attempting to recreate, poorly I'll admit, is a rotated & color corrected skyline time lapse, unless I missed my guess.

If you're going for a realist effect I'd recommend BlenderDiplom's file: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/simulations/inkdrop-in-water-effect/ Phenomenal work, highly realistic and he's even got a tutorial.

I'm struggling with the reference and your verbal description. They seem at odds to me, but in any case it's probably beyond my capabilities so I'll let someone else take a shot at it.

Happy blending!
