Description:

I've found another cool design in the web, so i did it in blender. Leather material probably needs some adjustments, but it's my first procedural material ever :) Zippers also needs some edit work, but after i've made all of those treads i've simply lost the rest of my patience.

Anyway, I hope you'll find some use for that nice bag or a good place to put it. Don't forget to give proper credits if you do so. Cheers!

Used materials:

Gold material was previously used here: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/69983

Procedural wood was taken from this cool blend: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/87743

And the floor material can be found here: http://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/67684

It took me about 150 hrs to render all five of them on my quantum supercomputer with no GPU :D

Also, I have a humble request for any of You great blenderers who have some good hardware for rendering. I'm making a turntable animation of this model, it's a 1280x720 resolution and 650 samples per frame. Currently i'm at 40th frame and it takes about 12hrs to make each one of them on my cpu...if anyone could help me with that insanely long process i'd be very appreciated. Even 10 frames would save me about a week, of course i'll put You at the honor place in credits. Whole anim will contain 240 frames, so it's close to a half of a year for me, since i'm not rendering every 24hrs per day :(

So if You would like to help me a little bit just reply, I can send that blend file via e-mail or maybe put it on some hosting site to download from the web...cause it's a different blend file than this one.

Anyways, i'm gonna put that video on youtube or vimeo and link it here, when it'll be done :)

...So I'm replying mostly to myself, or maybe to someone who was wondering about that anim. Currently, after over 2 months of rendering I'm stuck at 125th frame :D

If You know any kind of free render farm or something like that please let me know :) Meanwhile I've been doing some minor anim tests and simple renders, that's why I'm stuck with that one. Anyways...at the end of this week I'm planning to start rendering other half of this animation. Once again, it would be great if anyone could help me with that task :D

As far as I can see You didn't destroy anything about it, actually You've placed that bag in a lot better place than it was from: the beginning :) So You've fixed one of the problems with this model - my poor room environment :D

I'm very glad that You liked it this much to place it inside your own work. That's why blendswap exists :)

    Cheers!
