Quick braid using output from Hair factory for Blendswap users "Alcor". A million ways to do this, I chose to do it with a simple mesh made from 3 circles extruded, joined together where they overlapped, then added the following modifiers to the UV unwrapped mesh: Array, Simple Deform "Twist", Simpled Deform "Taper", Subsurf and Curve. Created fake normal, ao and specular maps in Quixel Ndo from the Hair Factory diffuse map. Cheers
