not bad at all, you have potentials
the modeling is basic but I've seen much worse from beginners
1) absolutely try to avoid poles, they tend to produce bad artifacts in subd animation. in your model there are very bad poles where the arms join the body. you can mitigate these by adding an extra row of polys banding the chest. also there are bad poles where the thumbs join the hand. you tend to just extrude new geometry where you need it, this in general is not advisable. extrusions always generate poles, so check the boundaries for clean quads before extruding, or fix bad poles by adding bands after extruding. by bad poles I mean 6-7 sides or more, 5 are acceptable
2) absolutely try to reduce the amount of polys you use for subd. you tend to let the loops flow outside their action area, thus ending with much more polys than needed. for example you let the hand loops flow along the arms, and the pelvis loops flow along the legs. you need to localize the loops where you need details, and leave less detailed zones with less geometry
3) the overall topology is not bad, but you need to improve some areas. the head misses a jaw definiton loop you also need to define clavicles and scapulas at least some. hands have a good basic flow but again miss details and flow localization
To improve your modeling skills you can find many tutorials online but it is very hard to get good ones. My advice for you is to get the book "Virtual Vixens" .. it is very old and indeed it has mistakes too but it is a good starting point to learn and practice topology and flow control
have fun and keep up the good job, I really believe you have potentials otherwise I wouldn't waste my time to comment your work

Fantastic work clepek89! You've got the Blender skill!
