The Santos-Dumont Demoiselle ("Damselfly") was a series of aircraft built in France by Brazilian aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont. They were light-weight monoplanes with a wire-braced wing mounted above an open-framework fuselage built from bamboo. The pilot's seat was below the wing and between the main wheels of the undercarriage. The rear end of the boom carried a tailwheel and a cruciform tail. (Source Wikipedia)

Written August 17, 2014The instant I saw this, I thought, "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines", the 1965 film. It says on Wikipedia that replicas of the Santos-Dumont Demoiselle were indeed made for that film. I now learn that they were mass produced around the turn of the last century for construction in only 15 days. Those must have been exciting times for those with the money to spend :-)

Thank you :) I made ??this for pleasure of FlightGear's users. When I see my models in flight in FG so I'm happy :) But see my models also of interest to other 3D designers is very nice. :)
