I was so enamored of the hand painted textures and adroit modeling etc. of the entry called the Hand Painted Small Column I had to copy it. I'm not agreat artist because I couldn't steal that, only copy. I used the same vertices and faces and angles, except I cut the base into 4 pieces to enhance the grouted joints, also engraving the multy subdivided and fractaly relaxed faces of the block column a little and setting displacement in it too. I tried like Heck to obtain a mottled and/or used looking textures. Not sure I acomplished that. All texture img packed, textures obtained from OpenGameArt . Org. Cycles used for node set and render.
You've done well, those textures look "used", and your method works - I can see the breaks where the blocks meeet.
