So rather than post the bonsai tree that I'd originally started this afternoon I thought I might just take a rather twisted view on a classic. My entry to the competition is a slightly darker take on the piranha plants from the Mario games. I’ve added in a few personal tweaks including a snake-like tongue and a similarly snake-like shape to the head. While this is technically not a real plant it did happen to be the next closest plant-themed object on my desk. I just hope it’s accepted as a submission.

I have removed the Ivy from the file as it made the file over 100mbs. To add just use the ivy modifier at the base of the pipe and set the size to 10. This should give you the exact result in the picture.
