This scene is a departure from my usual furniture/architecture upload. I was looking through an external hard-drive and I found this old robot guy from the 2.49 days. I loaded the blend into version 2.64, set it up for cycles rendering, and added a futuristic, urban background.
This is my first and only attempt at character modeling and armature setup. The model also has shape keys to define facial expressions in the form of mouth and eyebrow movements. I am definitely not an expert in this field and its possible that there are errors in my rigging. I apologize for this, but I figured that I should upload it anyway because it may still be useful for some of you.
As always, all image textures are homemade. The background image is a photo of Seattle, WA taken from atop the Space Needle. I visited the city last summer and it is awesome.
