Dude, really??? That is freaking awesome

Heh. It's nothing. For me far more important thing is to be able to do such quality models than model itself :)

This is really great! :)

How do you create your textures? Best I've seen in a long while! :D

awesome work. yet this SMG's kinda weird without a optical sight...

This is SICK! The details in this gun are just amazing!

http://www.facebook.com/FluppiDevGames Check us out, we would like some awesome modellers and you're perfect :)

Yep its very good. Its shame that there is no recording of yours lecture about normal mapping in blender and Xnormal ;).

Love but why does it look exactly like the blops 2 one?

Do you mean gun overall or just the painting (camouflage)? In first case remember that both my gun and BO2 gun is a recreation of a real construction (http://www.kriss-arms.com/index.php). In the secound case: I was looking at this: (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mTl_aOqUpg8/UJj2CZpYH4I/AAAAAAAABLc/z0DlR-0jO3M/s1600/Kriss_camo_05.jpg)

Perfect work! Definitely love it`s shiny silencer =)

Veti:

This blend model is amazing, and the texturing is exquisite. Mind giving me a few tips myself on the texturing? Thanks,

Chandler

Friendly Greetings Veti, I happen to visit these forums frequently for inspiration and help when it comes to modeling. I'd like to compliment your texture work, and I say "ye did good kid" =].

But one thing that I happened to notice that ROYALLY pissed me off is that while on a 3D world's market site (to be posted below) I happened to find well.. Something that looked rather familiar. Seeing that I can't flag it for any legitimate reason since it's not MY property, I wanted to inform you that your work has been ripped for commercial and should be reported for copyright violation. I'll post the link below, and if there's something wrong with that (Mods) please just let me know and I'll remove it, or you can take it down.

Good luck friend and I hope you get your work back! Best Regards, H_T_T_P

Thank you very much for this information, but I'm not going to do anything. Don't get me wrong - I'm not happy about it, but if you put anything on the internet (even for free) you have to consider that somebody eventually will try to sell your work as his. I'm almost sure that this is not the only place where you can buy my free models. If you want to do something about this - feel free to act. The last thing - it's Second Life - game I don't care at all. If it was a Turbosquid or something like that I would propably do something about it.

Hello veti! I've seen your fantastic work and wanted to know if you'd be interested in joining my dev team to create a Blender FPS! if you want to check out the project already go here facebook.com/fluppiDevGames

Did you use normalmaps for the details?

What do you mean? There's no normal on texture details (like mud spatter, scratches etc.). I use normal map for geometry detail (smooth edges etc.) only.

Any chance you could share the version with the scope like seen here:

Also: any other cool weapons currently underway? I am converting them to be used in a free software game project ;)
