Directly from the 4 years old wip topic at blenderartists.org, an accurate model (to the mm) of the 2006 Opel GT.

Comments:

Absolutely beautiful model, thanks for sharing it.

My pleasure, I thank you for providing this clean and friendly solution to share it :)

Woow, but you use the 2.64 version??

I've started with 2.45 and ended with 2.64, so you need to use 2.64 or it will give errors on previous versions now :)

I can't even open the .blend o my computer :(

Yhea... that might also happen :) It's required a minimum specs to open it, I would recommend having at least 4Gb ram, an Nvidia GT card with 1Gbram and a core i5

Excellent work! How did you made that viewport shader?

Thanks! It's just blender GLSL shaders with multi-textures in some cases :)

[...] Perdiz from Millzone (aka Rogper) released the file (in Blend Swap) and I took the excellent modeling and made this render. (Nov2012) Rate this:Like this:LikeBe the [...]

Rogper, you are outstanding. I saw your WIP also. Fantastic!!!

Please make a video tutorial. Want to see how you model.

You must must make a video tutorial of your techniques if you don't mind.

Thanks Tahseen! Sadly I don't have time and skills to make a video tutorial, sorry! :)
Although a while back I did made a screen-cast of the modeling of a character. My work method is the same for anything, the procedurals I've learned wile making Opel GT are all on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpNJBM2Gyng

WOW!!!! THis model looks already great in the viewport! im going through your post on blenderartist know... You did a killer job man. Wish i could model like this. But think i really need to start model stuff instead of looking tuts and doing nothing :)

PS one thing i dont get :) you said the model was build correctly to scale. How do you guys model things which are on a scale 1/0.5 orso. I mean isnt it easier to model 1/1 than?

:) Yeah its at 1:1 scale, I meant that in terms of porpotions is more or less accurate. Thanks! Anyone can achieve better then this, it is just a matter of work, persistence and practice.

I saw this model in the street the other day, I smiled, thinking directly of your WIP and modelisation...Thanx for sharing and it gives will and inspiration to work harder !
