Description:

my 6th model. I wanted to improve my modelling skills as well as understand blender's shape keys and cycles. I also wanted to depict an anime/ western look in this model. am sorry that I couldn't texture it properly though. i don't have a graphics tablet so i tried my best with my mouse. feel free to use this model for any purpose.

The face looks nice overall and the topology seems to be good. the hair is simple but fits perfect to a anime style. there are some points i want to mention. the skin around the eyes must be placed a bit closer to the eyes (there's a hole). the nostrils and the ears look a bit unrealistic (especially the topology on the nostrils is a bit odd). You shouldn't set the camera to Orthographic view when you render, it gives the face a totally diffrent shape. the white dot on the eyes is too much, it gives a illusion of unreal specular. My first thought when i saw the Preview was that it looks like a character face for "dead or alive 2" or "star ocean". they used faces that somehow had a similar style. One last question and then you're finished with reading this comment: Did you modeled everything with "boxmodeling" or did you used "sculpting" for some parts?

you say this is your sixth model , its really very good. And dont listen to natzuya :D you SHOULD listen to critz , even if you don't always agree with them... people who criticize are (usually) more experienced blenderheads, and so all criticisms are worth at least acknowledging. As for my opinion, the shading looks very "zelda ,ocarina of time" Its good, the mesh is nice and clean. however i have to agree with CerFriBar adding specular highlighting as a texture is never a good idea as the lighting is "glued" to the model, its better to add the specular to the material so it "moves right"
