Description:

In the early to mid-1950's Willy Ley ex-Nazi Rocket Scientist (colleague of Werner Von Braun) was helping the U.S.Space Administration (before NASA) spitball ideas for travel to the Moon, for real. And subsequently the ideas they thought the best were compiled into a children's book called "Space travel To The Moon" or something like that. I always remembered the one design for a lunar Lander that was Ley's own brainchild, and here I made a cosmetic 3d model of it for all to love! It reminds me of the L.E.M.? AND the Death Star at the same time. Also the personal pod craft from 2001.

Also reminds me of the Kaldorian ship from Space:1999.
