A Low-Poly, slightly stylized deciduous tree. It's not really intended to look like any specific kind of tree, but it does look nice. It comes with handmade textures and normal maps, as well as a reduced-detail version(which can be used with an LOD system). The reduced detail version can be found on the second layer.
The file also includes a Game Engine script to make the leaf clumps' normals point away from the center of the tree, leading to much smoother shading. The script will only work in the game engine, and the tree is already set up to use the script- just press P to see it's effects.
The script was written by Smoking_mirror from the forum on blenderartists.org. Used with full permission of the author.

reall nice! did you plant all the planes manualy or did ye have some fancy trick??

It was all done manually. I made a simple base object consisting of two intersecting quads, and copied it over the whole tree. It took quite a long time to fill out the tree nicely and consistently.
