Simply copy the desired object using ALT D (important!). DON'T use Shift D to copy!
The objects arrange themselves to the grid, which enables you to create complex buildings in a short amount of time.
You can use the M-Key to distribute the objects to multiple layers.

Written February 16, 2012nice idea,but make a game is long work ,i tried to make a space combat game with the 2.49 and work alone ,mean that you make all meshes ,logic brik ,python code for your custom logics,debugging and test ,but i had no time to finish it .

Written May 22, 2013as the camera moves out it slowly becomes transparent so I adjusted the camera clipping but that did not work. any ideas?
