This is a generic jet airliner, loosely based off the Boeing 737 transport model.
Features:
- A fully rigged armature, with control surfaces and landing gear constrained and rigged to make animating a breeze.
- A complete set of hi-res textures. The Inkscape .svg’s used to create the textures are also included in the download, allowing you to create your own airliner with any color scheme, modifications, and fiddly bits.
- A complete material setup. Two blends are included; the default is a Cycles-ready model, fully set up with node materials and shaders. The second (with a _BI on the end of the file name) is a Blender Internal Render Engine-ready file, perfect for lonely, nostalgic sunset flights.
- A clean, all-quads topology, making modifications easy.
Note that this airliner doesn’t have an interior, as the interior setup I created is much more complex and isn’t suited to much outside of the project.

nice job thanks
Thank you. Without Blendswap, I would have no self-esteem to speak of, and I’d be just a little crunchy shell. You people are the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
I exaggerate rather largely.
Hey man what renderer did you use?
Cycles, like it says in the description.

its not that bad of a model i like how you set up the bones well done
Great model thanks for sharing.
Only 1 complaint, but not about the model, when you share something can you put a copy of the license in the zip file so it is easier to comply at a later date if the model has been downloaded and not used straight away.

Great model, however when I try to render this in Cycles, the fuselage is completely black. I’ve tried several things, but I’m not sure what the problem is. How do you get this to render in a fresh copy of Blender 2.61 Beta?
I’m impressed with this: love the fact that you made it all quads. I’m going to see how it imports into Poser… should do just fine. Spectacular work… wish my modelling was as clean.
Thank you!!!
Yep, I always try to make everything all-quads. Ever since I discovered Campbell Barton’s fantastic Loop Tools and the Spin Edge tools, I’ve been like a pig in mud.
Oh, thanks, something I need to look into. Poser prefers quads (tris don’t bend real well, apparently) so when I model, it’s all quads. I do need to look into those Loop Tools and Spin Edge tools you mentioned!
